Sounds like your version of Netscape is out of date. >I know the card is good, I know the computer is doing its job. I think >Netscape is my problem now. Well, if your home PC has a cd burner, simply download the Mac version of a browser - like Internet Explorer 5 off Microsoft.com - and burn it on a cd. OS 7.5.5 should not have any problem reading a pc cd-rom, I don't think. Come to think of it, though, I am not sure what version of IE can work with OS 7.5.5. I use IE 5.1.7 on my 5300, but it requires OS 8.1. I know the rest of the list can help you with a modern browser for your OS, though. >To the lister who wrote saying I should be able to get on the net at home >through my DSL modem, you're probably right. I tried disconnecting the USB cable, but still no luck. Aha; did not know you were using the USB connection on your modem. I think they are either/or. And yes, you may have to reconfigure it to use it via Ethernet cable. Of course, a cheap router would allow you to use both simultaniously. >Thanks to everyone who offered help, I really appreciate it. I hope I can >return the favor some time.
