Any success stories out there of swapping mobo from a kanga to a
3400c? Any other mobos that would fit a 3400c?

I have two PowerBook 3400c with Kanga logic boards. Back in late 1998, not long after Apple had officially discontinued the Kanga, I had a unique opportunity for acquiring two brand-new Kanga boards, and I grabbed them for replacement, with no regret to this day. The 3400c/Kangas are still going strong.

Even if you can find a Kanga logic board in excellent condition now, which would not be easy, you need to know that not all 3400c RAM modules are compatible with Kanga boards.
