Roy writes, <I managed to download iCab 2.9.8 and installed it on the Powerbook. I am on the network! Thanks again to everyone who offered suggestions and helped with this little project. Now, I need to learn to use iCab, but I'm on the network!>
iCab 2.9.8 is my own personal browser of choice, actually -- both on my Powerbooks and on my desktop Macs. I love it. It took me "no time" to get used to it, and I found I actually DON'T like Netscape (my prior chosen browser, which I used from 1996-2003) nearly as much anymore. These days I only use Netscape as a "backup" browser. ~Yersinia. ________ "'Eternal Vigilance Is The Price of Liberty' used to mean we watched the government - not the other way around." -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
