I found a stripped WS 12" for peanuts, and thought I'd fix it up for my sister. The thing works fine, but the display is quite dim. Found a replacement lid/screen for a good price on eBay, but upon installing, saw only the upper/left portion of the desktop. Checking monitor control panel (OS 9.2.2) shows resolution of 1024x768. even though the display's resolution is 800x600!?! Re-boot - no change. Reset PRAM - no difference. The display is TFT, not passive matrix like the dim one. Has anyone solved a similar problem?
Thanx,
Vic Mabus
