I've heard that the 1400's NiMH batteries contain AA batteries, and that it's possible to rebuild one using AA rechargeables. True? Can anyone direct me to info/directions on how to do this?

NiMH packs can be rebuilt since their cells have standard sizes usually. A friend of mine pointed me to a Hobby shop that sells NiMH cells a while back. <http://www.towerhobbies.com/> The site is aimed at people who are into stuff like RC cars and such.
