Location: Greater Atlanta, GA
Start Date: Monday (May 3rd) **IMMEDIATE**
Duration: 6 months with extension likely
Rate: *$60.00/hr All inclusive*. Can work 4
days a week (M-THUR) and have a 3 day weekend!

NOTE: For this manager: We offer the option of *3 day weekends every

The DBA group is committed to maintaining, enhancing, and supporting Oracle
Applications, Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server Databases in both production and
test environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
• Assist with our Oracle E-Business Suite *R11i to R12i upgrade.*
• Perform release upgrades for existing databases.
• Create new databases and table spaces.
• Reorganizing database objects to reduce HWM.
• Understanding of cluster configuration & load balancing configuration in
ERP.
• Good understanding of Oracle Apps cloning methodology.
• Extensive Patch Application experience.
• Participated in many upgrade projects.
• Database & ERP Tech Stack Upgrade, Apply Quarterly cumulative patch
updates CPU.
• TAR Resolution for Bugs reported.
• Define and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Monitor system resource usage (disk, memory, CPU, IO) in conjunction with
System Administrators group.
• Provide technical support during development process.
• Physical database design and layout - log files, datafiles, rollback
segments, and tablespaces.
• Responsible for Oracle environment, database backup & restore, database
performance, diagnostics and tuning for ALL databases.
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*
Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience with Oracle Applications 11i /
12i (*MUST HAVE version 12!!!!!)*
• Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with Oracle versions 9i, 10g, or
11g
• Minimum of 3 years of Oracle RAC, Dataguard, or VLDB (1TB+)
•Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
•Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving
environment.
•Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal
skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS*
Must meet the minimum requirements above.
•Experience installing Oracle database software.
•Experience creating an Oracle database.
•Knowledge RMAN.
•Experience with SQL performance tuning (trace files, TKPROF, explain plans,
use of indexes).
•Knowledge of database tuning techniques, memory structures, latch
contention, I/O.
