Position: PeopleSoft Inventory Functional Consultant. Location: Dayton, OH, Albany, NY or New Providence, NJ. Duration: 6 months *The specs are as follows: * The PeopleSoft Inventory Functional Lead will be the lead resource responsible for the implementation and training of PeopleSoft Inventory within an existing PeopleSoft Financial system. The implementation also includes the integration with other PeopleSoft modules and external enterprise systems. *Key Responsibilities * o Significant prior knowledge and experience implementing PeopleSoft Inventory. o Collaborate with staff Business Analysts to analyze existing processes, assess impacts, document detailed business and functional requirements, and creating configuration to support the modules implementation. o Support testing, go live/production support and subsequent knowledge transfer. o Work with the Order Fulfillment and Distribution departments, and other stakeholders, to gather information utilizing a variety of techniques such as interviews, work sessions, storyboarding, and prototyping. Analyze, document, and communicate business requirements, business requirements, business scenarios, business use cases and processes. Understand project scope, project goals, product functionality, and desired features. Evaluate customer needs/issues, analyze business processes, assist in evaluating alternatives, and determine appropriate solutions with technical staff. Help determine level of effort and time required for delivery. Develop and document business requirements from user perspectives. o Ensure business requirements are properly translated and satisfied in functional requirements and design. Assist with system design and data migration reviews as needed. o Collaborate with staff Business Analysts and Technical Leads, and provide guidance support as needed. o Assist with development of test conditions, scripts, and test cases. Participate in testing, testing reviews and analysis of testing results. Assist with troubleshooting and providing recommendations. o Suggest improvements or enhancements to processes and systems in order to increase customer satisfaction or improve productivity. *Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience * o Significant prior experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Lead or Business Analyst o Must have significant knowledge within the PeopleSoft Inventory module, with preferred knowledge of related PeopleSoft modules including Order Management and Financials such as GL, AR and AP. o Experience in medium to large-scale PeopleSoft Financials implementations o Understanding of Oracle database environment, SQL, and PeopleSoft reporting tools. o Strong knowledge of application implementation and testing best practices and methodologies. o Ability to write functional requirements, use cases, and other analysis/design artifacts effectively (storyboards, screen prototypes, etc.) o Experience with user interface design o Experience with test execution o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) o Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) * * Thanks & Regards Adem Technical Recruiter Vertigon Consulting Phone: 201-786-2670 Fax: 732-398-0506 Email: a...@vertigonconsulting.com URL: www.vertigonconsulting.com IM: adem_verti...@yahoo.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Powerbuilder Assignments" group.
