They need to bring someone on ASAP to finish it. *Job Description:* We have an exciting opportunity in our Irvine office to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment to develop a Medical DNA Analysis component for a new DNA diagnostic instrument. In this role, the ideal candidate will help spearhead the development of the application that provides graphical analysis of DNA diagnostic results provided by the instrument. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise developing Windows based WPF applications. Additionally, an ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers, end users, analysis engineers and key project stakeholders will also be important. Candidates must also possess the ability to rapidly come up to speed on technology they may be unfamiliar with and translate new knowledge gained into high-quality code. *Job Responsibilities* · Drive the development effort of a WPF application providing analysis and reporting of information related to a new Canon DNA diagnostic device. · Perform requirements analysis, architectural design, and implementation of the solution. · Find creative solutions to challenges that can bring together differing requirements into a unified whole. · Effectively engage with customers, end users and key project stakeholders to gain a complete understanding of various business requirements and goals. · Provide project status to senior level management. · Apply an iterative and agile approach to the development effort. * * *Qualifications:* · Strong communication skills are critical in this role.** · At least five years hands-on experience in .Net technologies for developing GUI for Windows desktop applications. · Three to five years hands-on experience in developing WPF applications. · Strong knowledge of Microsoft Expressions Blend.
