Title: SQL Server Database Developer - (GC's or US Citizens preferred) Location: Grand Rapids, MI Duration: 12+ months Start Date: ASAP No of Positions: 1 Rate: $DOE Required skills: * Gather, document and analyze business requirements to define scope of development. * Troubleshoot and provide necessary bug fixes related to client and User reported issues. * Work with project managers to ensure that data entry, retrieval, change and delete functions meet business requirements for project completion * Extensive experience developing and supporting SQL database environment * Extensive experience with relational database structures * Strong in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report generation * Experience in Data Modeling, Database design and well versed with SQL Server best practices * Good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure and indexing strategies * Expertise in creating various database objects - Stored Procedures, User Define Functions, Views, Triggers, indices * In-depth knowledge of T-SQL * Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related subjects in engineering/sciences/math. * Ability to work in a team oriented collaborative environment * Experience working on Agile development projects * Experience working on development project teams * Strong experience in MS SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012 * Strong experience in designing & developing SSIS packages. * Strong experience in database Query Tuning. * Good knowledge of database modeling.
