*Title : Informatica ILM Developer* *Location : Waukegan IL* *Duration : 6 Months* *Description:* The position is for an *Archive Developer*. This person should be comfortable working on a wide variety of systems, both old and new. A desire and ability to understand and work with unfamiliar data structures is an asset. The ideal candidate will be a person who has had experience using *Informatica Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)* as a tool for archiving databases. Should have strong Archive Development experience. *He or she will:* Know how to analyze the structure of a source database, construct the target database in the archive and transfer the data from the source database to the archive database. Know how to test that the data has been archived correctly. Know how to create and apply retention policies and legal holds to data in the archive. Know which tools to use for each part of the archiving process and how to get the best performance out of these tools. Know how to use data masking to hide sensitive data. *A comprehensive knowledge of RDBMS is fundamental to the job. Knowledge of multiple database systems is important including:* SQL Server Oracle, DB2. *Knowledge of other data sources is useful especially data stored on * Mainframe.
