*Job Title: Quality or Test Analyst* *Location : New York City, NY* *Duration : * *1 Year* *Job Description:* - The application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to work under general supervision to monitor software quality and associated business/technical risks across the software development lifecycle. - Define and analyze technical risk for new and/or modified software products, then document, perform and interpret functional tests to mitigate risk. - Perform varied and complex assignments of the software testing functionality. - Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other technical personnel. - Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation procedures to be used in the product design phase through the initial production. *Functional Experience:* - 1- 2+ years in QA *Finance Industry:* - 3+ years Financial Services industry experience - Responsible for performing and leading the integration, system, and regression testing of software for both manual and automated test execution. - Entering and managing defects to completion. - Interact with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedules. - Identify interdependencies, ambiguities or omissions, and make suggestions to improve requirements and ensure usability/testability/traceability within the agile feature team. - Plan test schedules in accordance with project scope and agile delivery expectations. - Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness. - Develop testing scenarios/cases to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, End to End and integration testing, boundary/negative testing, error or defect retests, usability; including automated scripts. *Risk Management: * - Demonstrated ability to shape risk based testing approaches/plans *Tools: * - Deep experience with automated Tools like QTP and Selenium (1-3+ years preferred) - COF Experience desired but not required - Ability to write and analyze test reports across a broad audience - Ability to present recommendations to a senior audience -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Powerbuilder Assignments" group.
