*Duration : 12 month* Client has a 12 month+ contract opportunity for a VMware Windows Systems Analyst with our direct client in downtown Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for implementing, maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting a VMware vSphere environment including server migrations, troubleshooting, upgrading and patching. This is a 7x24x365 support organization and some after-hours work may be required. *VMware Windows Systems Analyst Responsibilities:* - VMWare environment, including performing server migrations, monitoring performance, upgrading, - patching, and scripting. - Server hardware platforms and their Windows Operating System and related software. - Provide second-level support to other areas both within and outside of IT. - Follow standard processes for hardware, software and project completion, problem resolution and - change management. - Diagnose and resolve problems to meet service level expectations. - Communicate progress, problems and best practices to management, leads and teammates. *VMware Windows Systems Analyst Requirements:* - Implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting a VMware vSphere environment including experience - with server migrations, troubleshooting, upgrading, and patching (2+ years). - Knowledge of vCenter (2+ years). - Must have experience with vCenter 5.5 and vSphere ESXi 5.5 - BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Computer Engineering desired or related work experience. *VMware Windows Systems Analyst Preferred Skills:* - Scripting knowledge (PowerShell / PowerCLI). - Basic knowledge of security policies. - Knowledge of storage (EMC) and networking (Cisco). - Powerpath, Dell blades / chassis, EMC Powerpath, Dell vCenter plugin - Vendor certification desired (VMware, Microsoft, and Dell) Thanks Sushil -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Powerbuilder Assignments" group.
