Responsibilities: The Client is looking for a Senior JAVA/J2EE Developer with GOOD ORACLE and WEBSPHERE EXPERIENCE. The Client is looking for a JAVA / J2EE Developer with a minimum of 2 years Oracle Database and WebSphere experience to assist with support of its custom developed applications. This position will be involved with development and enhancement of Java/J2EE programs in addition to support of the existing applications. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of Java development experience using the following technologies is required: Java/JEE, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, JSP. A minimum of 1 years experience with Websphere Application Server is required A minimum of 2 years experience with Oracle database is required A minimum of 1 years experience with Java Web Application (Real Time & Batches) Support is required A minimum of 1 years experience with Java Message Service (JMS) is required Experience with requirements gathering and documentation is required. Strong analytical skills are required. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is strongly preferred. Experience with the following technologies: Web Services Struts, and XML/XSLT, Spring, and JPA is preferred. Knowledge of and experience with UNIX OS, UNIX Shell Scripting, and UML are strongly preferred. Experience with Rationale Requisite Pro, Rational Application Developer, and Eclipse are preferred. Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports is preferred. The ability to successfully interact in a team environment is required.
