*Position: MicroStrategy Developer* *Location: Las Vegas, NV* *Duration: 9 - 12+ Months* *VISA: No Constraints* *No # Positions: 2* *Position Description:* Responsible for the development of reporting solutions to address business needs. Understand source data, and the business systems that create and utilize this data during business operations. Collaborate with other Business Intelligence teams to design and develop solutions to business problems. Design, Develop, Implement, and Support new and existing data, ETL, and reporting solutions implemented in Teradata, Informatica, and MicroStrategy. *Major Areas of Responsibility:* - Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience - Recommend data and reporting solutions to meet requirements of BI projects. - Build and implement data and reporting solutions to provide increased efficiency and consistency, higher employee satisfaction, improved customer experience, and reduced costs. - Understand policies, procedures, and practices for analysis of business data. - Produce summary and detailed reporting solutions for key performance indicators utilizing data housed in multiple databases/systems. - Produce Ad Hoc Reports to answer business questions quickly and thoroughly. - Develop technology documentation to support ongoing maintenance of reporting and data solutions. - Design, Develop, Implement, and Support new and existing data using Teradata, Informatica, and MicroStrategy. - Perform other duties as requested by supervisor *Requirements:* - *5+ years of experience as a MicroStrategy Developer in an Oracle environment* with experience with MicroStrategy Web, Developer, and Intelligence Server. - 5+ years of architect level experience with creating and maintaining MicroStrategy schema and application objects including Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies, Tables, Metrics, Reports, Documents, Dashboards and Scorecards. - *2+ years of experience using MicroStrategy management tools such as Object Manager, Command Manager, and Integrity Manager.* - Expert knowledge of MicroStrategy security features such as ACLs, Roles, and Filters. - Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL preferred. - Ideally, experience developing applications to visualize retail point of sale data.
