*Position : AWM Java Applications Developer/Devops - Associate * Location : Jersey City, NJ *Description * J.P. With clear focus on managing client assets and delivering strong risk-adjusted returns, more than 650 investment professionals provides over 200 different strategies spanning the full spectrum of asset classes, including equity, fixed income, cash liquidity, currency, real estate, hedge funds and private equity and take leadership positions in America, U.K., Continental Europe, Asia, and Japan. *Key Responsibilities: * · Partner heavily with technology partners, including business analysts, release management, infrastructure, and other developers, at all levels · Utilize Agile methodology and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation · Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs developing applications within mature technology environments. · Design, develop, code, test, debug and document code, build, deploy, and support app environments · Review design and functional specification prepared by other team members · Coordinate with end users during User Acceptance Testing · Analyze and document problems, recommend solutions, and initiate corrective action. · Support production rollouts of the functionality on-site by partnering closely with the Operate team *Qualifications * · 5+ years of enterprise search application development and administration experience with Apache Lucene Solr. · 6+ years of development experience in Java, Spring framework, Spring boot, Restful Services, MQ, Kafka, and Unix, Apache, Tomcat · 6+ years of AngularJs 4 UI JavaScript Frameworks, HTML5, Bootstrap · 6+ years of strong Relational DB experience ArangoDB, Sybase, Oracle or MS-SQL · Experience with cloud integration, circuit break patterns · Experience with Javascript and java testing frameworks such as Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor etc.. · Good understanding of Object Oriented & component based software development and experience using design patterns · Must have excellent analytical, management, technical and oral communication skills. · Self-motivated team player.
