Firewire Direct card dosen't work with a PowerCenter Pro. I tried one and couldn't get it to work. When I called tech support the told me it won't work on the PCP models. I was able to return it for a full refund. There a good company. I now have a Sonnet Tango Firewire/USB PCI card, it works fine. I went to HFS+ 2 years ago under 8.5, no issues, it works fine. I also picked up 30% in free space on a 2 gig drive I recommend using a converter tool like Alsofts or Total Recalls. Total recall has a stand alone tool and one included in MscMedicPro. If you backup, reformat and restore it will take longer and all your alises and in my case short cuts [OneClick] will need to be fixed. Do a backup first.
