Is the GC400 in XLR8 Mach/GC400/1 a G3 or G4 Chip? At per my last contact, Sonnet states the G4 card will not work in Power Computing Machines.
OBTW, there was a posting about Sonnet Cards having to be sent back for a modification before they would work. I had a new 500MHz G3 Sonnet Bd with the seal unbroken. Just this week, I called Sonnet on this and they stated, "Board modification was only required in very rare instances and for me to break the seal and install. It should work just fine." I did and it did. The PCP240 it went in is just bopping along AOK. RHB "Michael S.
