I also added upgrades and am sorting them out. From PowerOn Computer, I got a 24x CD that only works about halfway. So I bought a new copy of FWB CD-ROM Toolkit SE to see if I could get the CD to function as it should. The 4x CD that came with the PowerTower 180e was not working too well with the original FWB CD-Rom Toolkit that came with the machine when I bought it, so the upgrade seemed like a good idea. The 24x works well once it gets to copying blocks of data (like installs) but access takes several minutes or locks up with the Apple CD/DVD 1.3.5 driver that came with MacOS 9.0.4. Onward and upward...
