Chuck Stinnett spoke thusly: > To wit: "Newest version of the PCI to USB controller that is compatible with > Macintosh. Mac computer with PCI 2.1 complian [sic] slots." > I'm going on memory here, but I believe USB 2 was just recently introduced, and is fully backwards compatible.
> Mention also is made that this card is "Compatible with iMac OS 8.5 and > above." USB support was introduced in 8.5, wasn't fully compatible till 8.6. You'll likely need to download USB card support from Apple, unless you're using 9.1+, which installs it for you. Again, just going on memory, so feel free to have away at me if I got it wrong. -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
