Anyone with experience with ATTO UL3s host adapter card and OS 9.1 on
a PTP 250?

I have recently bought the ATTO ExpressPCI Ultra3 SCSI (firmware
installed is 1.6.6) host adapter for my MacintoshPTP 250 computer.
The only peripherals that I have connected to this card are two
Quantum Atlas 10K III 74 GB hard drives (Ultra 160 LVD). On my
internal Apple SCSI-2 bus I have 2 hard drives (IBM & Western Digital
using 3.0.2 FWB drivers), a Yamaha CRW 4416s drive, an HP DAT drive,
and an Iomega ZIP drive setup.

I have setup different volumes on my internal drives from which I can
boot with MAC OS 8.1, and another volume with OS 9.1.

Here is my problem: I am able to see the two Quantum drives on the
UL3s when I startup with MAC OS 8.1; but when I boot with MAC OS 9.1
(with or without extensions, PRAM clean) I get the HAPPY MAC ICON and
the system just stop! It looks like it checked something. Again my
drives are terminated with a Terminator. I have tried to change slot
and I get the same problem with MAC OS 9.1. I have re-installed a new
MAC OS 9.1 system... still the same thing....

When I shut down the two Quantum drives and I reboot OS 9.1,
everything is starting fine.
Any idea what could be the culprit? any known conflict with OS 9.1
and ATTO and FWB?

Does someone know what a HAPPY MAC ICON means when it just stays
there on screen?

As always thank you for your time and help,
