Actually $40 isn't too bad.  I know I paid more for the 375-watt PS I put into
my PTP when the original 300-watt died, but I probably could've found cheaper
had I shopped around more.  Checking the local PC shops is the best solution.
My local shop had a large selection of ATX supplies in various capacities.
