Ok, here's something I never was able to figure out.  

I've had this PTP200 for almost 3 years (it was a hand-me-down perk 
for a summer job) and used it at work for a year before that... And it 
has always displayed this ... weirdness.

The PTP won't warm boot.  

That is, trying to restart it always fails, no matter if it is done 
via the Finder commands, three-fingered-salute, or the restart button 
on the front panel.  It will chime, and the hard disk will make the 
usual noises, but the video doesn't come back and the machine never 
fully boots (sounds in the startup items folder, for instance, so I'd 
know if it got to the desktop).

It cold boots fine.  Shutting down, then starting back up works 
without a problem.

Anyone have any ideas about that?  Strange, huh?  I've tried to 
troubleshoot this myself, and I've even asked the list before, but 
I've never gotten it to work right.
