Dear Listers, I have a Newer Technologies MAXpowr G3 300/150 MHz PCI DaughterCard with 1MB Backside Cache for sale. Comes with Newer Technology's MAXpowr G3 software and other manuals & data I have collected and put on cd.
This card came with my s900 which prior owner ran flawlessly. After I finally got my system set up with all my stuff, I ended up switching to an XLR8 G3 when another computer opportunity came along. I've been using this in my spare 8500 computer but I'm going to need cash for my new bills. Newertech the company, is apparently (still) on its way back according to their revived www.newertech.com website, so new software & support will probably/hopefully be coming along too. Maybe? The card gives a major boost over the stock cpu. No more long waiting. The MAXpowr G3 PCI upgrade is compatible with the following computers equipped with Mac OS 7.6 or newer: * Power Macintosh Series 7300, 7500, 7600, 8500, 8515, 8600, 9500, 9515, 9600 * Workgroup Server 7350, 8550, 9650 * Daystar Genesis and Millennium Series * Mactell XB-Pro * Power Computing PowerCenter, * PowerCenter Pro, PowerCurve, * PowerTower, PowerTower Pro, PowerWave * UMAX J700, S900 Item will be shipped via U.S. Priority Mail (U.S.). $100 Shipped Priority in NewerTech Box. Insurance Extra. Accept Paypal, Cashier's Check or Money Order. Contact me off list.
