Hi all- I have a PCPro 180 that's running OS8.6 with 192 megs of ram. For xmas, my wife has bought the following: Sonnet G3/500 w/512kcache upgrade card Sonnet Tango Firewire/USB card 80gb Firewire hard drive OS10.2
It's the last item that I'm concerned about. I had the option to buy 9.1 from Apple but then I'd have to shell out for 10 later on. I figured by buying Jaguar, I could simply use the enclosed OS9 disc and shelve the OS 10 disc for now. But, my concern is that I'll be getting a 9.2 disc and from what I've seen out there, it's impossible to run anything past 9.1 on the 180. Any suggestions, thoughts etc would be welcome.
