I had an extra powerwave that had been working OK. Since it was a spare, I used some parts off of it to rebuild my free PTP that I talked about here before. (PTP is up and running www.newkirkherald.com I'm happy to report, still have problems with the Webstar software transfer, page counter don't work ... blah blah blah) Well, now I've tried to rebuild the powerwave from other spare parts I have and now have encountered the pall of the dead machine. I can get the bong, hard drive spins, but no video. I've tried changing video cards, seating processor, seating riser card, seating memory, pulling cache dimm, replacing cache dimm, changing memory, pushing cuda ... , all the suggested fixes I've seen on this list. My next step is to pull everything out, start over and rebuild, to make double sure it is not a seating problem. In the past, when I've experienced this type of problem with other machines, I was always able to get it to work with one of the above fixes. Is there something I'm overlooking/forgetting? Any ideas?
