FYI I have had my PowerWave 604/132 for maybe eight years. Over the years I have added two hard drives, a Zip drive, a scanner, two CD drives (Because I didn't understand that the CD driver needed to be changed), 128mg memory, a G3 Sonnet card and some other stuff. Let me tell you this machine runs great almost never crashes and fills most of my needs. But I made the mistake of wandering into the Apple store in Newport Beach, California! Now I really crave a new machine. I also feel trapped by OSX and am considering trashing the PC 604/132 in favor of the small G4 desktop at $1299. The problem is: "What about all my drives and devises? Will they work okay with OSX and G4? Plus I'm looking at the cost of software upgrades, USB to SCSI and on and on. Worse: I wonder if OSX will produce more problems than benifits if I stick with it. A last question: Do you have any idea what my setup would fetch on e-bay? Tom, I'm a newbee to this list.
