Greetings All, Thanks to RHB I was able to install OS 9 - 9.2.2 on my PTP 225 with a G3 366 and 512MB or RAM . The system ran ok under 9.1 but would never shutdown properly. When it shutdown it would go all the way down, but the next time I would turn it back on it would hang about three seconds after hitting the grey screen. Allthough it was annoying it was survivable, so I dealt with it. Although it turns out the problem was fixed in 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 so now my machine works great. (and much more responsive) Next Step is Jaguar...
I do have a question as well if you would be so kind as to answer it. Short of having to buy a Radeon 7000 (not much money) are there any video cards I can use in this machine to run OSX .. because every time I try to start the install on my IxMicro M8's the video goes black. I have been trying to use XpostFacto as my install agent. Stewart C.
