Many of us have had very good success with 9.1. I have it on two
PowerTowers; works great). But then, both 7.6.1 or 8.6 had been stable on
these machines, too.

So the adage, "Your mileage may vary," certainly applies. At the least, it
can be said that 9.1 isn't inherently unstable on Power Computing machines.
