My Machine is:
System: PTP 225; original 604 225 CPU
With:
Various drives, all 1-4gb SCSI; mem 256mb
the Video Cards I have:
1 the VGA/RGB double plug thing it came with (??)
2. A Radius card full length with a daughter board. Unknown name or model
3. PC Voodoo III that has been flashed to a Mac ROM (now I KNOW this one won't cut
it!)
4. A box full of Trident, S3, ATI, Number 9, and on and on PC PCI video cards not one
of which works on a Mac though they all do on PCs)
With cards 1-3 the box boots fine in OS 7.5.5 through 9.1 (I have disks formatted on
7.5.5 8.0 8.1 8.6 9.0 and 9.1 and have tried each and they work), but:

 on OS X...

I have a fresh clean Apple Rom formatted 2gb drive.
(by the way, FWB's format tool will NOT format a readable in OS X disk, nor l it seems
will APS, or Silver Lining, but the Charis Anubis works, at least it does on the
7500/Sonnet I have)
I have a fresh 2gb, with a boot from a 9.1 system on a 1gb that has Xpostfacto on
it. with either a 10.1 OS X or Jaguar 10.2 (tried both) in the CD drive. Do the
install thing, tried all the tricks from reload, throttle, boot single user etc,
and... it starts to load the New World goodies, boots like normal...wait wait
wait..twice the time a 7500 takes and...it boots back to 9.1... DRAT! never seem to
make it to OS X install screen.

Any ideas out there? Is it my video? I have tried all the usuals of clearing PRAM (I
even left it battery out for 2 days), reinstalling 9.1, redid the 2gb SCSI disk's
format, even repartitioned and made SURE it was HFS+...

I am at a loss.

Help me Obi wan Kanobi. Your my only hope!
