hi there. ONE: does anyone have any suggestions for my NEC CD-ROM 462? It is in a PowerTower Pro 225 (upgraded to a Crescendo G3/500/1M, but what does that matter?)
The only fix I have found (and it's not that great) is the FWB Toolkit. It works, sort of, but gives me two icons on the desktop; I tweak the settings, but I never get everything like I wish it to be. I've also tried using the Apple CD-ROM extension from the system 7.6 package, but it didn't even allow for mounting of the CD I put in. TWO: If I were to simply replace the drive, do you have any recommendations as to which to buy?
