I forgot to mention that I was running OS 9.2.2 on the PCP but just yesterday have re-initialized the 2G IBM HD with newest HDTK drivers and went back to OS 9.1 and still have the same problem with restart although it seems more stable now. I am still going through the re-installing everything process.
Has anyone else tried the "Hold down the CUDA button DURING restart?" That's a new one on me and sounds kind of risky. (How long?) I did go back to OS 9.1 on the PTP as well but it still has the "burp and hang" on restart thing. This may be a clue for someone more knowledgeable than I: HDTK indicates in the info window that it has "hard reset." I guess that's what I'm doing when I shut it off on the box. ?? Again, all ideas appreciated.
