The spec sheets for the Apple Studio Display 21" indicate that it only works with machines having built in (vice pci card) USB. I get the impression from the information that the only down side to not having the built in USB is that there won't be a hardware/software interface for some of the buttons on the display - and of course the displays built-in USB hub wouldn't work.
Does anyone have any experience with these and machines not having built-in USB?
