Hello all, new guy here...
Anyway, let me cut to the chase. I have a desktop PowerBase 200, and a
mini-tower PowerWave 604/150. How compatible are the parts inside these
two beasts? I ask because the PowerWave tower has more drive bays, and
more RAM slots, but the PowerBase has the faster CPU...
The PowerBase 200 uses 5 volt DIMMs. I do believe the PowerWave does
also, I can check that just by sticking them into the PowerWave...
Can I swap the CPU cards?
If not, can I swap the PCI riser cards between the two mainboards? I do
realize that the video chip for the PowerBase is on the riser, and that
I would need a separate video card then. I would just use the one from
the PowerWave.
Any hints/tips/info would be much appreciated. Thanks...
