Not sure what the speaker for a PCP 210 looks like but if it's anything like the one in my PowerWave then do you have any old junked transistor radios laying around? Another source might be old PC's or a PC trade show vendor who sells PC case parts. > Since All Electronics, Inc. has dried up as purveyors of Mac Batteries at > bargain basement prices, where's a good economical source for batteries? > Apple Works User Group (AWUG) gets $7.50 a pop. Not sure what their minimum order amounts are but I recently ordered some batteries from Mouser that were $6 each, brand new. They were part of a larger order for me so the minimum order thing didn't concern me then. I think Digi-Key might have them even cheaper but they might have a minimum. All these places probably sell small speakers too. > Which brings to mind another question. I read that not leaving the unit > plugged into a power source, shortened the battery life .... Not sure when it's plugged in but turned off but I think this is still using the battery. > When I turn off my UIPS (As per the directions so the battery con recharge.= ) Most UPS's that I'm familiar with charge their batteries as long as they're plugged in and AC power is available no matter if they are on or off. -- John Impellizzeri mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
