It seems there's a new Mac virus "out there" that targets OSX. I received this on my Powercomputing list today. Bottom line, don't open attachments from unknown sources.

This Trojan Horse is NOT "out there". To date NO ONE has received this.
It should be emphasized that this is NOT a virus. It's a trojan horse, which means when some poor unsuspecting slob clicks on it, it executes malicious code.
This type of vulnerability (if you can even call it that) has been present throughout the entire history of MacOS. Why people are making such a fuss out of it now is beyond me. Maybe the Microsoft people are trying to distract people away from their buggy and hole-ridden OS.
And I think the example mentioned was an MP3 file that had to be double-clicked on by the user...it wouldn't execute if it was sitting in the iTunes music folder.
