On this note.... I have a IIci with an extra motherboard and an external CD
that anyone on this list can have for the price of shipping. It even has a
Griffin video adapter so you can connect any PeeCee monitor to it or use the
included video board with a Mac monitor. It has no monitor, keyboard or mouse.
(They are currently in use on my PowerBase 180). Hard disk and memory just
fine... Plug in and go! (I think I might even have an Ethernet card for it...)

Send me an email and we can arrange shipping.

OS 7.5.5 should work on both the 2Ci and the PowerWave (which is
essentially a Mac 8500).
As for the printer settings, yes, the pram battery should be checked
(by noting the date after new startup. If 1904 or 1956, either the
pram battery is kaput, or the pram has been zapped without resetting
the date)
I'd also trash the printer preferences, and any preferences
associated with the driver software, and see if new preferences make
a difference (new ones are created when the app is next launched).

It's heartening to know these older computers are still up and
running and doing useful service...good going Wayne !!

Cheers...Michael
