Thanks Josh, not being the hardware guy I'd missed that subtlety.

 From a quick try with racadm it seems that is also not returning 
chassis info for our C6320s which matches my earlier findings with 
dmidecode and ipmitool (not just bmc).

An earlier mailing list post provided "ipmitool raw 0x30 0x12 | head -n1 
| awk '{print $10}'" to get the node number so I'm hopeful the chassis 
service tag is in there somewhere to grab.
