I upgraded to PowerMail 4.2 yesterday and so far so good. However, one glitch with 4.2 that is very annoying. This morning after fetching the mail and reading it, I have -7 (minus seven) messages unread. The 'In Tray' folder is bolded in the folder list and of course there are no unread messages in it.
It's very annoying to look and see the folder bolded. I keep thinking that there is unread mail in it. How does one fix this problem? I tried everything I can think of, from rebuilding the index to compacting the database to selecting everything in the folder and changing its status to unread then to read, to moving it all to another folder (with that last attempt I ended up with : 0 messages, -7 unread) It seems linked to a filter that I have that auto-replies to certain messages and sets their status to 'Replied'.
