Well, just about the time I figured all was well, PM has started to bail
out on a type 3 error whenever I attempt to check mail at this address.
Turns out, I was leaving messages on the server, so I could download and
play in multiple mail clients while I decide what to buy. When the inbox
cleared 130 messages, most of them already downloaded to PM, the program
began to have fits. Clearing those messages solved the problem.
Interesting.
