This was just discussed, but I'll try to summarize. In View you can set various options and include a column [status] in your list as to read, unread, forwarded, replied to. Unread is blank, read has a check, replied has a green arrow pointing left, forwarded has a green arrow pointing right. As far as I know in that column you can't distinguish between "I read this and want to answer it later" and "I read it and am done with it." You can use the label column for this. To include it in your view go to the View menu. To set colors and the name of the label, go to preferences. You can apply a label to a message via filters. You can also do it via the menu. They tell me it is under the Mail menu now. On mine it is under the File menu. -- Barbara Needham
