That's kicking! Awesome! I had to enter all passwords again and this is no fun for + 10 accounts for POP AND SMTP. This is not a crashing bug, but nearly as bad. all the best Matthias ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: DNS restored for PowerMail's and FoxTrot's domains From: "Jim Pistrang" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 10 Dec 2007 20:52:50 -0500 Hi Matthias, >I had to enter all passwords again and this is no fun for + 10 accounts >for POP AND SMTP. >This is not a crashing bug, but nearly as bad. I had to re-enter some passwords, but not all (which is mysterious). I DID have a crashing problem on one account. When I changed the password and did a Save from the Accounts window I was crashing. I deleted the password from my Keychain, then I was able to enter it without crashing. I also had a crash. The first was successful--I entered the password in the dialog box that popped up. The second password I had to look up and then went to the PM Accounts window where I entered it and did a Save. PM 5.6 crashed immediately. Thanks, Jim, for your suggestion of deleting the password from Keychain. It worked for me, too. I'm on Leopard with a MacBookPro. I recently programmed something with the keychain and also had crashes, when the strings where not UTF-8 encoded. After converting everything to UTF-8, everything was fine :-) btw, deleting the entries in question of the keychain did the trick. No, I don't think so: I'm using a G3 upgraded to a G4.
