Does CTM plan a fix? I am mostly on 10.4 or 10.5, but it is possible in
an emergency I might need to use a 10.3.9 Mac. I am still at PM 5.5.3.
Should I not upgrade?

Thanks.

Hi all,

Just my 2¢:

I would like to vote for 10.3 support to be dropped. It is a large
burden to QA 3 different OSs. I'd much rather see PowerMail advance and
adopt newer OS features. PowerMail still doesn't even shows sheets! A
feature added in 10.0, a full 7 years ago! Of all the apps I use, PM is
most OS9-ish.

Fellows,

FYI, we will be coming out with PowerMail 5.6.4 this week-end which
restores 10.3.9 compatibility. I've been busy with FoxTrot and a bit
behind on actually releasing this, apologies to those involved.

An announcement will be made to the list as soon as it is available.

Kind regards,

jean michel / ctm qa

Subject: Feature Request: Quick Look support

Hello,

It would be nice if PowerMail allowed me to preview attachments
of suitable types (pictures, PDF documents, etc.) using Quick Look.

    <http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/quicklook.html>

Imagine being able to select an attachment in an incoming
message, press the space bar, and have a preview window of
the contents pop up, right within PowerMail, without the
need to launch external programs like Preview.app.

Yes!

Although I'm not particularly fond of Mail's user interface
for Quick Look. I think PowerMail could do better.

Marco,

Good thinking - this is already in our plans for the future.

Cheers,
