Since upgrading to MacOS 10.9.1 (yesterday) I have been having the same problem where whenever PowerMail retrieves a message, I get a spinning beach ball for 10-20 minutes or more. Also, I still have the problem where PowerMail crashes the first time I open it (from the Finder) and then have to select 'Reopen' in order to actually launch it. I rebuilt my search indexes and compacted the database..etc with no effect. When I attempted to do a low level rebuild, I got a message saying that there was an error in doing so. While the spinning is happening, I have gotten several messages that a "memory error occurred": (index.temp) Class=std ; what=1; when=100 Class=Cach; what=100; when=7 (index.temp) Class=Cach; what=100; when=5 (index.temp) Class=FoxT; what=100; when=23 (index) Any help would be appreciated! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re(2): PowerMail 6.2.1 build 4668 on X.9.0 Issue From: "Tom Bulat" <t...@dandeliondigital.com> Date: Tue, 7 Jan 2014 13:08:59 -0500 Hi Joseph, I had similar issues with spinning balls and the message retrieval process appearing to be hung. I did all the usual Powermail fixes, but none worked. What did work was restarting my machine. Not sure why? So long for now, TOM >Joseph Farias wrote: > >>It's strange. FWIW I have no such problem with PowerMail 6.2.1 build 4668 using OS X 10.9.1 on a late 2013 iMac.
