Palo Verde provides the following response: At this time, Palo Verde does not use portable demineralizers in either the refueling or spent fuel pools during refueling operations. We have been looking at these types of systems, especially for the spent fuel pool as a way to reduce soluble Cobalt 60 levels. I understand that some folks have had success with the PRC II tacky resin.

If so, have you used a specialty resin in them? Thanks!
