Harry, Columbia does not have a specific qual guide for radiological planners (ALARA analysts). We do have a formal station qual for "planners" which has been modified for radiological planners. All permanent and contract radiological planners must have this qual to do any radiological planning at our site. I am point of contact if you need additional info.

I haven't seen an update to that question but was interested in the industry response. So my question is; does anyone have specific training guides for ALARA Analyst / Rad Engineers such as writing ALARA Plans, Work In progress Report, Post Job reviews, etc.? If so, do you require supplemental ALARA Analyst to also have the training? In addition, could you provide contact for follow-up benchmark? Harry L.
