Palo Verde provides the following response: When a hot spot is identified:
1. There is no formal program to evaluate the condition. An informal request is made of Operations to flush the spot, otherwise it is typically posted as a hot spot and left in place. 2. Currently, the RP ALARA/Planning tracks and trends hot spots. 3. No formal procedures or program per se, recently our RP ALARA/Planning group has been able to incorporate an ALARA hold on work orders performed near hot spots and if place on the work mechanism a formal flush request is sent to Operations to determine if a flush can be performed Seth ********************************************************************** Seth J.
