Palo Verde requires 4 RP Techs on-shift to support minimum Emergency Plan
staffing. For an Alert or higher requires 6 additional RP techs. During
normal working hours, all ERO personnel must report to their assigned ERO
facility in one hour or two hours during off normal time periods.

Subject: Powernet: RP staffing during declared emergencies

Beaver Valley Power Station requests the following information:

1) How many RP Technicians are "on-shift" to perform RP functions as part of
your emergency response organization (ERO)? (At Beaver Valley (2 Unit
station), we have 3 RP techs as part of the on-shift ERO).

2) What are your requirements for RP technician staff augmentation when an
Alert or higher emergency is declared (how many additional RP Technician
qualified individuals must be called in, and how soon after emergency
declaration must they arrive) ?
