Subject: Powernet: Down posting surveys
Wolf Creek has the following questions for down posting surveys:
1. At your site, do you require a peer check for down posting HRA's/LHRA's?
Peer Check is required
2. At your site, do you require an independent survey from another
technician for down posting HRA's/LHRA's?
The peer is not required to perform an independent survey and normally would
not.
1. At your site, do you require a Supervisor to perform a review of the survey
map prior to down posting HRA's/LHRA's?
Supervisor's approval is required. Supervisor may nor may not review survey
prior to allowing area to be downposted.
We are trying to determine what constitutes a peer check (e.g. independent
survey, two technicians signing same survey, etc.)
Good question. We don't require any specific documentation of peer check. We
make a shift log entry for survey changes, person that performed peer check
should be identified in the shift log but our procedures do not currently
require this.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
