Wolf Creek is requesting information for the following questions:

What type of radiation survey software does your site use? VSDS

Do you train contract personnel to use this software? Yes.

Is your radiation survey software required for all surveys performed, or
do you allow special circumstances to write them by hand? (Excluding the
obvious, computer system down) In a few circumstances when computer is
down or work in an area with no network access.

Are your surveys available for all site personnel to view once the
survey is complete? We are in the process to doing that. The latest
approved map survey was available in the past. We just upgraded the
software a couple days ago and have not gotten the new web viewer
functional yet. The ALARA coordinators for different have the ability
to get the surveys directly from the program. RP will also provide a
copy of the surveys to anyone who needs it

Please state any future plans you might have regarding survey software
changes or updates. We want keep current as the version we used before
upgrading was over 10 years old and we had many workarounds so it would
function for us. The program is maintained by or corporate IT and we
had little support to keep it current and could not do it by ourselves.
