Davis-Besse used three units at the equipment hatch for the Containment Building during the reactor head replacement outage last fall/winter. We had 750 scfm ventilation units connect to them. We believe the major benefit in the use of these devices is that you are controlling where the workers remove their protective clothing. We had 6 pce's for that 60 day outage. While we had alot of other things that went right (e.g., good fuel performance, good shutdown cleanup process, changed out type of protective coverall ), anecdotally, their use appears to help. We'll validate that in the upcoming refueling.
